Our Frequently Asked Questions:

Who is responsible for repairing the cause of the loss?

Most insurance policies state that the insured is responsible for repairing the source of the loss. If you are unsure of your responsibilities, please contact your insurance agent.

Who should I contact if I have an issue at any point?

If you have any questions during your Green Clean restoration process, please begin by contacting your Project Manager. Should the issue persist, feel free to reach our main desk at 612-789-9600 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Your feedback is important to our success at any stage of the entire process.

What about my pets? Can they stay in the house during the restoration process?

If your presence in the property is deemed safe, it is generally safe for your pets as well. However, as our crews frequently access exterior doors, some pets may have a tendency to escape. If you are concerned about this possibility, consider boarding your pets. Additionally, if your pets have displayed aggressive behavior, please ensure they are safely contained for everyone’s well-being. While we welcome pets in a stable environment, clients can request accommodation for boarding through their insurance if necessary. Ensuring pet safety is our priority.

We don’t wear shoes inside. Will your crews remove their shoes?

We acknowledge your concern about maintaining a clean environment in your home. However, as per our company’s safety policy, it is mandatory for our crews to wear safety toe shoes. To address your preferences, we always have shoe covers available to protect your flooring. Additionally, our vehicles are equipped with brooms and dustpans, and we make every effort to tidy up before the day concludes.

I want to reward a Green Clean employee for outstanding performance. What’s the best way to do that?

We recommend expressing your appreciation through positive feedback and acknowledgment. Consider leaving a positive review or testimonial highlighting the employee’s contributions on the site of your choice (Google, Yelp, Angi, BBB, or Facebook). Your recognition will be shared with the whole team, fostering a culture of appreciation and motivation within the company.

Our commitment is to consistently provide excellent service and communication, with the intent to earn exceptional reviews from satisfied clients.

What choices do I have for granting access to technicians in my home, and how does using a lockbox benefit the process?

A lockbox provides us with the necessary access to your property for monitoring drying progress during emergencies and conducting repairs once the structure is dry. We make a concerted effort to communicate our scheduled visits and ensure our crews knock before entering. Additionally, they secure the property both before leaving for lunch and at the end of the day. It’s crucial to note that maintaining a clean criminal background is a requirement for employment at Green Clean, and we only hire individuals we would trust in our own homes.

While placing a lockbox on your property isn’t mandatory, doing so significantly facilitates our access during the day, ensuring a more efficient project timeline. If you have alternative preferences, such as providing a garage code or door code, please inform us. We strive to accommodate each client’s comfort regarding entry points. Due to the emergency nature of our business, our schedule may experience frequent changes. In such cases, customers with a lockbox will be given scheduling priority to better adapt to last-minute adjustments.

What kind of warranty does Green Clean provide?

We provide a warranty as outlined in our reconstruction contract:

(a) During the one-year period from and after the warranty date, the dwelling shall be free from defects caused by faulty workmanship and defective materials due to noncompliance with building standards.

(b) Throughout the two-year period from and after the warranty date, the dwelling shall be free from defects caused by faulty installation of plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems due to noncompliance with building standards.
